Help Levy Get Back On Her Paws

On behalf of Shannon Barr, I created this GoFundMe for her amazing dog, Levy. Shannon has risen above incredible challenges over the last 6 months, and deserves to have one less burden of medical expenses to worry about. Please share or donate if you can.

Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow Dog Lovers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and a hopeful spirit to ask for your support for our sweet dog, Levy. Unfortunately, Levy has torn her second ACL, and she needs surgery to help her get back to running, playing, and living her best life again.

Levy is more than just a pet—she’s a beloved member of our family. Levy is the reason why Shannon fought for her life after the car accident she was in, in September of 2024. Over the years, she has been a source of joy, loyalty, and comfort to everyone she meets. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, taking long walks, going to daycare at Norwichtown Pet Resort to play with her friends, or chasing after her favorite ball, Levy’s love for life is contagious.

However, this injury has left her struggling and in pain. After already undergoing surgery on her first ACL, we’re now facing the challenge of her second surgery, which is expected to cost around $3000. This surgery is critical for Levy to regain her mobility and return to the activities she loves.

We are asking for your help in covering these costs. Any donation, big or small, will make a world of difference and help us get Levy the care she needs. Every penny raised will go directly to her surgery and recovery expenses, so she can walk, run, and play again without pain.
