Levi, our beloved dog, has been a cherished member of our family since we adopted him as a puppy from a Dallas rescue. With his quirky personality and boundless energy, Levi quickly became the heart of our home. He’s known for his love of car rides, chasing his favorite beachball around the pool, and spreading joy to everyone he meets.

Recently, Levi had a medical emergency after swallowing some socks, which required urgent surgery. During this visit, the vets discovered something more serious — a swelling on his back leg. After a biopsy and CT scan, we received difficult news: Levi has a lipoma embedded deep within his muscle, and it’s now affecting his ability to walk.

Surgery is urgently needed. The veterinarians will attempt to remove the mass, but there is a chance Levi may lose his back right leg if it cannot be isolated. Further pathology is also required to determine whether the mass is cancerous.

The costs of Levi’s emergency care, testing, and upcoming surgery have quickly become overwhelming. We’re doing everything we can to give Levi the best chance at a happy, pain-free life — but we can’t do it alone.
