Hi, I’m Audrey, and I’m raising funds for my dog, Levi.
I adopted Levi in 2016, and from that moment on he changed my life. Through every home, town, and milestone over the years, he has been my constant companion and best friend by my side.
In 2020, Levi was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Then last May, we learned it had progressed to degenerative mitral valve disease (DMVD), and we were told he might have only about a year and a half before heart failure. After months of trying different medications with little improvement, his cardiologist suggested Levi might be a candidate for TEER/V-Clamp surgery.
We were incredibly fortunate to get an appointment at Colorado State University, where Levi successfully underwent surgery on March 4th. The most difficult part of this journey is behind us, but he still has about three months of recovery before he is fully in the clear.
The surgery and ongoing care have come with significant expenses, and I’ve taken on a lot to make sure Levi could get the treatment he needed. If you’re able to help, any support would go toward easing the financial burden of his surgery cost.
Thank you for helping me give Levi the chance to keep living the happy life he deserves!
