Levi, Raina’s Frenchie, is more than just a pet—he’s a beloved member of her family and community. Over the years, Levi has brought smiles, joy, and comfort to everyone he meets. He’s a cherished companion, known and adored by all the neighbors, and his presence in Raina’s life is truly special.

Levi is only 4 years old, but he has been dealing with a serious airway condition that affects his ability to breathe. He struggles with a collapsing airway, especially at night, and it has become an ongoing and deeply concerning issue. Raina pursued surgery in hopes of improving his breathing and quality of life, but unfortunately, it resulted in laryngeal damage that is still being evaluated, and his breathing challenges continue. Because of the complexity of his condition, even routine veterinary visits are no longer simple—Levi is extremely fearful and requires heavy sedation just to be treated, and even then he struggles through it. Basic visits, including bloodwork, can cost $600–$800, and he has needed multiple exams, emergency visits, and specialized procedures along the way.

At this point, Levi’s medical care has exceeded $30,000, and the need for continued treatment is still ongoing.

Each incident has felt like a life-or-death decision, and the out-of-pocket expenses have been overwhelming. Raina, an experienced and successful hairstylist, has done everything she can to cover these costs, but the sudden debt has put her behind her financial goals. With Levi currently in the ER for an endoscopy to remove a foreign object, the situation has become urgent.
