Hi! My name is Eliza and I’m fundraising for my friend Levi. After dealing with years of issues with his car, Levi was finally able to get a used Prius in good condition. Less than a week after getting his Prius, his catalytic converter was stolen, even with an anti theft cage. Unfortunately, it happened so quickly after purchase that the theft will not be covered by his insurance. A new catalytic converter that will meet California standards is $2,500. This is an unexpected cost for Levi and will not be easily covered. He has a temporary solution but needs help getting the funds to pay for a new converter that will pass CA emissions tests.
