Hello, my name is Jenalee, and I’m writing this for my brother, Levi. Levi is only 34 years old. He is a husband, a new father, a son, and my brother — and he has just been diagnosed with incurable Stage IV gastroesophageal carcinoma that has spread to his liver. For those who are unaware, this is his second battle with cancer. When he was 13, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He received radiation at that time. They believe that is what has caused this cancer. Doctors have told us his life expectancy is short.
Just weeks ago, his world revolved around welcoming his new baby and building a future with his wife. Now, everything has shifted to treatments, appointments, and trying to hold on to as much normalcy as possible while facing something no young family should ever have to face.
Right now, Levi is going to be starting aggressive treatment. While he is still able to eat and function, the road ahead will include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, mounting medical bills, time away from work, travel for care, and the everyday expenses that don’t stop.
We are raising funds to help:
Cover medical and treatment-related expenses
Offset lost income during treatment
Support his wife and baby during this incredibly uncertain time
Allow Levi to focus on fighting, not finances
This cancer is not curable — but support can give him time, comfort, and dignity, and can help his family stay afloat while they face the unimaginable.
If you’re able to donate, share, or keep our family in your thoughts, we are deeply grateful. Every single act of kindness means more than we can put into words.
Thank you for standing with us.
With love and gratitude,
Jenalee & Family
