Help Levi Get Life Saving Cancer Treatment

Hello everyone! We are relieved to share this update. The initial reports from Levi’s CAR T treatment show that he is in remission. With this great news, Levi’s care in North Carolina has wrapped up and he is back home in Trinidad. He is happily filling up on all the trini food he missed .

His care has transferred back to his home team in Trinidad, as he will require ongoing care from his oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, endocrinology, and physical therapy teams, just to name a few. Next steps for keeping him cancer free will involve very careful monitoring for any return of cancer and taking treatment steps if this does happen.

So, while there is some uncertainty and more huge hurdles to jump in the future for Levi, he and his family are taking full advantage of his restored health as they settle back into their normal home life for the time being. This would not have been possible without your support, and we remain grateful to the family, friends, and strangers who helped Levi get to where he is right now.
