Hello and thanks for reading this,
For anyone who doesn't know me already, my name is Levi, I'm a queer autistic 33 year old who is and has been living on my own despite being disabled. I work full time, have three lovely kitties including one who suffers from ongoing health issues, and in my spare time I have refurbished computers for donation to people who cannot afford a computer but need one for work or to maintain their disability status.
I am running a gofundme to attempt to catch up on my overdue bills. In 2022 I found out I was diabetic and required emergency surgery for an infection caused by the diabetes. When I left the hospital I was slapped with a sixty+ thousand dollar medical bill which has weighed on me massively ever since. In order to not have my wages garnished, I am required to make monthly payments which I cannot truly afford long term which have caused me to fall behind on my regular bills. I am asking for 2000$ total as that would catch me up on my overdue bills and allow me to maintain from a fresh start, no longer battling overdraft fees and late fees on every monthly bill, and will help stabilize me going forward in case of any unexpected emergencies.
If I get anything beyond what I am asking for, which would be amazing, it will go toward my savings so that in the future I can have a cushion to avoid this kind of hard crash in the future.
I am a hardworking person and asking for assistance has always made me feel uncomfortable, I appreciate everything that anyone is able to give and will not squander it. I know this is a lot to ask, especially with the way everything has been lately, and I want to thank everyone who can share this so that it gets out to a wider audience, who donates, or who reaches out to me to try to assist in other ways. Everything is appreciated.
