Hello my name is Rachel Afshari,
Leu is a member of our team at LemonPress, a restaurant located in Nantucket, MA. Earlier this year Leu's pregnant wife Tamika contracted Covid-19 whilst on island. Due to the limited medical resources we have here, Tamika was med-flighted to Boston where she had to abruptly and unexpectedly deliver her baby early. Post-partum, Tamika continued to fight the virus.. She devastatingly lost the battle against COVID-19 leaving her newborn child and beloved partner Leu behind.
The team at LemonPress is making a dedicated effort to raise money to help Leu and his newborn daughter in the wake of this sudden tragedy. Leu will need the monetary resources to help pay his rent, afford child care and a myriad of other things that come with raising a new child.
I cannot speak highly enough about Leu. He is and always has been a diligent, reliable, hardworking member of our team. It is the collective hope of his LemonPress family that we're able to help him in any way possible to get through this tough time.
