Today, I would like to gather the community in support of Mauro, Letty, and Mateo as they navigate a sudden medical event with an unpredictable road ahead.

Many are familiar with the varied artistic talents and endeavors of Mauro and Letty across TV, film, visual and fine arts, as well as their most important creation, Mateo. They are vital members of every community they join and bring honesty and depth to all our lives through their friendship and their Art.

In late February, Letty experienced a moderate stroke, and she is currently wrestling with aphasia, memory loss, and effects on her right side. Letty is in the hospital and is monitored by several teams of doctors. She is improving daily, and there is still a long road of recovery ahead, full of questions and unexpected expenses. Letty has had a long medical history of Lupus, which brings an extra layer of considerations to the recovery road.

Right now, they will benefit from community support to help cover unexpected medical costs, childcare costs, and to give them the gift of handling unexpected expenses without the financial stress.
