Help Letitia Ross Secure a Safe Shelter

Hello My name is Letitia Ross im 52 years and homeless. I became homeless when my daughter loss her home/everything and because I lived with her I lost everything as well. As a result my current situation is I’ve been sleeping on the ground of the public library in palm coast. I’ve been homeless for 90 days now. The past 2 weeks has been really hard due to the cold. The cold weather has caused my health conditions to worsen and increased pain in my body. I have Chronic arthritis and neuropathy as well as a blood clot on my brain and in my lungs. I’ve been diagnosed with chronic depression and PTSD due to me being repeatedly rapped and abuse in the foster home as a little girl. My doctor scheduled me to see a therapist as a result. Another issue I’m faced with is the issue of safety. It gets really dark out here and I have no phone service. Lately there has been a man lurking every night and it honestly scares me. Which is one reason why I created this Gofundme page. I’m trying to do all I can to purchase a car. With a car I know I will have a measure of security.

Im really trying not to give up on life but it is has been so hard sleeping on the cold hard ground. My plan is the only hope I have so far, besides relying on my Heavenly Father. So I decided to ask for financial assistance to get a car. In additions to security, my plan is to get a car in order to make my doctor’s appointment. It’s crucial that I make my appointment because I have a doctor’s order stating that I cannot work due to my health condition. I am signed up for disability however If I miss my appointments then I lose my chances for getting it. I do use Flagler county transportation. However, lately it has been tough because there are days I can barely walk due to my chronic arthritis. This makes using that kind of transportation feel impossible because sometimes it is too painful to walk up the busses stairs. Additionally I am also signed up to receive a one bedroom apartment. Therefore, I have to do all I can to retrieve disability and through disability I’ll be able to afford the apartment.

So please help me reach my first step by helping me to raise money for a car. To give you an idea of how much I need I will say I know a man who’s willing to sell a car for 7k. I feel bad asking this from you all but I am desperate. There’s nights when I cry so hard. Therefore I’ll say I truly will appreciate and be grateful for whatever you all can donate.
