Help Letisha Receive a Life-Saving Liver Transplant
Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved daughter, sister, mother, niece, and friend, Letisha Romney, a vibrant 31-year-old who is now facing the fight of her life.
Letisha is a deeply family-oriented young woman who lights up every room she enters. She loves nothing more than cooking for those she loves, caring for children, and spending time with her young son, Jevonni, whom she considers her pride and joy. Her warmth and kindness are felt by everyone who knows her.
On August 22, 2025, Letisha was admitted to Peebles Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with liver failure. She was later transferred to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for advanced care. Her only chance of survival and of returning home to her little boy is a life-saving liver transplant.
The estimated cost of Letisha’s surgery and post-operative care is expected to be in the range of $80,000 to $340,000, depending on ongoing medical and travel needs.
This includes:
• The first three months of hospital recovery and aftercare in Puerto Rico.
• Frequent follow-up visits in Puerto Rico over the next three years, including travel and accommodations.
• Medication to prevent rejection and keep her new liver healthy.
While Letisha’s family and friends are rallying around her with love, prayers, and support, the financial burden far exceeds what we can carry alone.
How you can help:
• Donate: Any amount - large or small - brings Letisha one step closer to the transplant that can save her life.
• Share: Please spread Letisha’s story widely - on social media, with friends, at work, and in your community. Every share helps us reach more hearts.
All donations will go directly toward Letisha’s medical expenses, travel, and ongoing care.
Letisha’s 6-year-old son needs his mother. With your support, we can give her the chance to recover, to watch him grow, laugh, and thrive, and to live the life she so deeply deserves. Your generosity will not only help save Letisha’s life but also give her son the gift of growing up with his mother by his side.
We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness, every dollar, and every share.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Letisha’s Family
