Let's help Leticia and the Salcedo Family Fight Cancer

Leticia is a loving mother of two, wife ,sister, and thoughtful friend. She's the glue that holds her family together.

On October 8, 2021 Leticia was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a rare and aggressive form of Brain Cancer. Leticia has since undergone surgery and is preparing for chemotherapy and radiation in weeks and months to come.

We are raising funds for Leticia and the Salcedo family to help provide for her medical care and any other needs that arise in the coming year. While Leticia's health insurance will help with the medical costs, there is a significant portion that it will not cover. Already in the short time since Leticia's diagnosis, her medical bills are substantial. The greatest desire of Leticia's family and friends is that she be physically and emotionally present with her family throughout this journey. Leticia's daughter, Jocelyn , recently resigned from her position with the City of Bakersfield in order to help care for her mom. It is expected, that others in the Salcedo family will miss work time, and income, while Leticia goes through the necessary treatment. Our hope is that this fundraiser is a way to relieve a small part of their burden during this time.
