In March 2024, my beautiful wife was diagnosed with stage 4a small bowel adenocarcinoma after having surgery to remove 2 large tumors found in her abdomen. Since then, she has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy and will continue to take some form of chemo for the rest of her life.

It is no secret that healthcare costs in our country are exorbitant. Even with employer-provided health insurance, the chemo alone is costing us $400 every 3 weeks. A recent MRI was $1300. Having just entered into the new year, we've already exhausted all of our health savings account funds.

The maximum out-of-pocket expenses on our health insurance plan is $8000 per year. So we are asking friends and family for help to raise enough to keep Lety healthy and to keep these life-saving medications accessible for 2025.
