Family and friends...
On May 9th, my sister in law was diagnosed with COVID-19. After a couple of doctors appointments and a trip to the ER, she was admitted on May 17th for shortness of breath and a decrease in her oxygen level. Since that same evening after being admitted, she has been fighting for her life in the ICU and on a ventilator. She is young, healthy, and has no pre-existing health conditions. If anyone is strong enough to make it through this difficult time IT IS LETICIA!
Her husband Shane and their son William have also been diagnosed with covid and are currently recovering at home. Shane is doing a great job holding down the fort at home while his wife is fighting to live. Unfortunately, like many other people, things have not been easy for them financially during this pandemic and this is only going to increase their stress. Anything you can give to help with medical expenses and other miscellaneous items for William and Shane are more than appreciated. If you can't donate, that's okay, all we ask is for you to pray, because at the end of the day the ONLY thing that matters is she pulls through this. I will continue to give updates for her family and friends here.
In Jeremiah 17:14 we hear the cry "heal me Lord, and I will be healed...", and in Jeremiah 30:17 we hear God say "I will restore your health, I will heal your wounds." James 5:13 tells us "a prayer offered in faith makes a sick person well."
