Help Leticia, a disabled teacher, during time of hardship.

Hello, my Name is Leticia Gonzalez, I am a permanent disabled teacher, after getting injured at work. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.
This is the second time, I find myself in this predicament, where I will lose the only materialistic asset I have, which is my home. Eight years after my injury the school district took my job, my salary, and my life medical benefits. I was forced out to retire early and I lost 50 percent of my income for life. I was able to save my home from foreclosure with a supplemental pension I had.
Now six years later, on January 2024, the CALSTRS Ombudsman, in charge of the Teacher pensions, informed me to sell my home and live off my proceeds for 2 years, as a I was being placed on collection due to a mistake on their part in 2019 by the district’s insurance, Sedgwick.
This economic hardship they have placed me in, has taken a toll on my health, on top of the multiple parts that got injured at work and the heart condition that developed, “SVT” from the abuse I received from those in position of power at the school district. I was not welcomed back anymore, after getting injured at my job. I did not deserve to have lost half of my pension nor be forced out!
I currently only have an EBT card for CalFresh and no other source of income. I have not been able to sell my home and I’m going to end up homeless, as the bank will foreclose on my home, if I can’t make the mortgage payments because I can’t work anymore, and I have no income to qualify for the programs offered by the bank servicer, PennyMac. I have no money to pay my utility bills, the credit cards, personal loans, nor other necessities not covered by CalFresh, like toilet paper, soap, etc.
Any money donated will be immediately used to make the house payments, I am behind with, and avoid having the bank take my home away, as I sell it and to pay for my utility bills. Without my pension, I have no income coming in of any source.
If you are not able to donate at this time, please pass this along, to other people. share with your family and friends as this will mean the world to me as well. thank you!
