Help Keep My Family Together

My name is Lesly Hernandez, and I am humbly asking for your support to help cover legal expenses as I fight to keep my family together.

I have lived in the United States since 2023, working hard to provide for my children and contributing to our community. My children are thriving here—doing well in school, playing sports, and being involved in activities that give them joy and stability. Just recently, my daughter proudly graduated from the fifth grade at Bruce Monroe at Park View Elementary School.

In 2023, I applied for asylum for myself and my family to escape the violence in our home country and to seek safety, stability, and the opportunity to build a better life. Sadly, my asylum case was denied, and now my family and I are facing deportation proceedings. I am currently working with an attorney to appeal this decision, but the legal costs are overwhelming and far beyond what I can manage on my own.

The United States has given us hope, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. My greatest wish is to continue raising my children in the place we now call home, where they can pursue their education and dreams without fear.
