Help Leslie with medical costs & travel

Hello friends and family.  It's so hard to get this news out to all of the folks we care about. Ideally, we would like to have a conversation with each of you regarding some medical news Leslie got last week. Unfortunately, we have run out of time and need to go this route. I'm sure many of you will wonder 'how can I help'. Leslie articulated her thoughts below. We appreciate your consideration. - Tyler

The last thing I expected to be doing this year is setting up a GoFundMe page. But here I am reaching out to all of you today to ask for help with unexpected medical costs.

About a year ago, I tripped in our sunroom and had a significant fall to the landing below. I broke my elbow, needed leg surgery, and have continued to feel dizzy, even though I didn't hit my head.

Last week, my doctor ordered an MRI because she was concerned about my ongoing symptoms. The results revealed a large mass pushing on my optical nerve and severe fluid buildup. Not exactly the news I expected. I'm still in shock, but I'm also grateful that this was found before it caused significant injury. As you can imagine, they want me to deal with this right away.

We will be flying out to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on March 7th. I have a few appointments scheduled to meet with their Neurology team about where we go from here. As far as what the next steps look like we are not sure at this point.

If I've learned anything this past year, it's that you need to listen to your body. You know your body the best, and it's essential to speak up when something isn't right. I've also learned that God holds your hands in the best and worst of times.

The reason I'm reaching out to you today is that we need help covering the unexpected medical bills and travel costs that are coming. Any donation, no matter how small, would be a tremendous help.

I'm keeping my head up and trying my best to stay positive, and I'm so grateful to have the support of kind-hearted individuals like you.
