Since then, I have been living in tents, walking everywhere just to find food, showers, and a safe place to sleep. Life has been overwhelming, and I recently came out of a coma with ongoing heart problems. I have no family to turn to, and my daughter is now in prison. Every day is a struggle, and I often feel alone and exhausted.

I am not a drug user or alcoholic—I simply lost my home and have nowhere else to go. My hope is to move back to my hometown, North Myrtle, where I can start over and rebuild my life.
