Help Leslie pay for medical bills

Our lovely friend Leslie was diagnosed with breast cancer recently and she needs your help.

In mid-September of 2022, Leslie found a lump in her breast that she decided to get looked at. After some testing, she learned that the lump she found was a cyst and not an issue, but she was told that they found another spot in her breast they were concerned with. She did more testing and on October 18th it was discovered that the mass was triple-positive breast cancer. Unfortunately, after some additional testing, Leslie learned she also has a different type of cancer in her other breast – another devastating blow.

As you can imagine, cancer treatment is not only costly but time-consuming. One treatment can cost $6,700-$7,900. Leslie attends weekly chemotherapy treatments that take her away from work. Recovery from these treatments seems to vary each week, but often this means more time away from work and family to recoup. She has shared that she is running out of PTO and is afraid of the financial burden that will come with saving her life.

Leslie is also one of the best moms we know. She dedicates her life to her son, Elias, and would do anything for him. The financial burden of this treatment is something she worries about because of how it might impact her ability to provide the best life possible for her amazing son. She and Leslie’s husband, Michael, work so hard to provide for Elias and the expense of this treatment may impede their abilities to do so.
