Help Leslie and Stacy Return Home
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Leslie Anderson, fell seriously ill on October 7 while visiting New Jersey to celebrate her godchild’s engagement. Since then, she has been hospitalized (including ICU care) and unable to return to her home in Asheville. Leslie has been courageously battling pneumonia, pancreatitis, gallstones, and viral infections. Her devoted sister, Stacy, has been by her side every step of the way—staying in a hotel to provide daily support. This unexpected situation--far from the comfort of their home--has brought significant emotional and financial challenges.
They Need Our Help
Leslie is too weak to travel by standard means and requires medical transport to return home safely. Once in Asheville, she will need rehabilitation care and a chair lift installed to access her upstairs bedroom.
If you know Leslie and Stacy, you know the strength, kindness, and generosity they’ve always shared with our community. Now it’s our turn to help them in their time of need.
How You Can Help
We’ve joined with their parish family at St. John’s Episcopal Church to raise funds for:
1. Medical transport to safely bring Leslie home.
2. Current and ongoing medical bills.
3. Out-of-pocket expenses for Leslie's care and Stacy's unwavering support--both in New Jersey and once they return home.
Your support—no matter the size—will have a meaningful impact on Leslie's recovery and help ease the burden during this difficult journey.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity,
Ashly Maag, Rhonda Gentry, and the Rev. David McNair
