Lesli Jones, a cherished member of the Wakeland High School staff who teaches AP Lit and English IV, has been fighting Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer since December of 2020.

She is now faced with a new and rapid progression for which there is no medication, so she is doing chemo again and will possibly have to continue chemo indefinitely. The high cost of chemotherapy is a heavy burden.
