Help Lesley Snelson beat Breast Cancer

Hi! We are Rebecca, Cinnamon, Amy, & Kiera! We would love to introduce you to our good friend, Lesley Snelson, who, at age 47, has just been diagnosed with Stage 3, HER 2 Triple Positive Breast Cancer. In front of her is a 2-year treatment plan: Chemo, Double Mastectomy, Radiation, and Reconstruction. She grew up in DFW, and although her parents are local, they are in their upper 70s & 80s with their own health issues and can give her only minimal physical and monetary assistance.

Therefore...WE, as a community of Lesley's lifelong friends, co-workers and students who have been inspired by her amazing teaching of Dance & Pilates, desire to come together to SUPPORT her through her upcoming battle. We hope to be joined by Friends of Friends and the dedicated audience of her Muscle Memory Dance Theatre, who have  loved her performances and choreography.

 

At this point in life, Lesley has gone through a recent transition from teaching Dance to primarily working in sales and management for a small family-owned business. She is grateful for her position and plans to continue to work throughout her treatment phase, realizing that it won't be possible to work 100% of the time. We all want Lesley to focus on beating cancer and getting well, not stressed about the medical bills, meeting monthly rent, and paying for pet care for her emotional support cats: Queso and Mona Lisa (pictured) during treatment. She is a single working woman in a Sales position with a small company that thankfully does provide insurance, but with a high deductible and high patient-pay percentage.

 

We recognize there are many crucial needs in our world at this time. Please continue to give and support those. If you are able and so inclined, consider contributing any amount towards her medical needs.
