Help Lesha who needs open Heart Surgery

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this today. My sister Lesha's days were filled with smiles, laughs and traveling with friends and family. A couple of weeks ago, the unthinkable shook that vision: Lesha was diagnosed with Endocarditis and will need open Heart surgery. She suffered 2 mini strokes which left her with no movement in her right arms, difficulty talking and communicating thoughts . She has had high blood pressure and a fever which is preventing doctors from proceeding with this life saving surgery. She is currently in the Neuro- ICU where her mom and sister Alex have remained by her side.

While the doctors and family are concerned about her prognosis, the road that lies ahead will be long and not without significant physical, emotional and financial challenges.

She has a very long road ahead, but she knows that "SHE'S got this" and "WE got this"!

Lesha, her mom, dad, sisters, and brother are facing significant medical bills as a family that won’t end once her road to recovery begins; follow up appointments with specialists and physical and emotional recovery will extend for years as Lesha will need to be under close medical supervision.

In addition to a miracle, we need the support, and prayers to help our Family through these rough days ahead with Lesha.
