Help Lesa Recover: $40,000 Life Flight Cost

On Tuesday, December 10th my mom, Lesa, went to the emergency room for abdominal pain and it was decided that they needed to do an emergency appendectomy. Durning the surgery they found that her appendix had already burst and they had to remove part of her large intestine as well. After surgery she seemed to be having difficulty waking up from the anesthesia and it was determined that she had a stroke post-op and she was life flighted to a hospital in Kansas City. She spent several weeks in the hospital in KC and was finally able to return home on January 3rd. She is doing well with her recovery but she has at least two more surgeries that she will need and since she is not able to work at this time she will be losing her insurance at the end of February.

The life flight itself came with a price tag of $40,000 so that is where I have decided to set the goal for this fundraiser. I know that any help that they receive will be a huge blessing and will help my mom to focus on her recovery.
