Help Leroy fight Leukemia

On October 26 I got a message from my friend Leroy Bell that unfortunately he was going to need to be hospitalized because tests came back that he had Leukemia. In true Leroy form he dropped this bomb like it was no big deal. Since that day we've been in close contact and being that we both work together a lot of people we both know kept asking how they could help. I brought up the idea of starting a gofundme to Leroy and Susan. They simply stated there are many other causes that need money and were hesitant. They are correct that there are so many needs in the world. Bottom line he's fighting for his life even though if you talk to him he'll make it seem like he stubbed his toe. Those of you that know Leroy are aware of how great a person he is and in a time of need he would help anyone with anything. 

Treatment- Leroy has been undergoing chemo to get his body right. He's been at the local hospital here in Okinawa since the end of October. They've made progress but unfortunately he does need a bone marrow transplant. He will be flying to Houston December 31st to check into MD Anderson to undergo more treatment and await a donor. This process could prove to be very long depending on how the treatment goes. 

Funds-  At this point in time they have no idea how much they will have to pay. Leroy doesn't expect his costs to be covered by the gofundme and was very hesitant because again he feels other causes are bigger than his. In discussing with some of his friends everyone kept bringing up that having some donations would help reduce the stress associated with everything that is going on.
