As you may know my name is Marriah and I have my miniature dachshund known as LeRoy aka Poopy. I am a full time masters student in Social Work, a part time internship, and a full time employee at a grocery store. I just recently graduated with my BA in Social Work. It is just me and LeRoy. LeRoy is my entire world/life I have had him since he was just a baby. He is now 3 years old and unfortunately things have not been good past few days..

on Monday 09/22/2025 I came home around 5pm took LeRoy to potty which at this point in time everything was normal. We came inside and I noticed he was not as excited as normal I went to pick him up and he was screaming in pain. I rushed him to the vet from 7:30pm till 12am during the hours of us being there my little guy lost feeling in his back legs, being paralyzed waist down and has been diagnosed with IVDD. On 09/23/2025 I notice he has not used the restroom within 24 hrs and I have brought him to the vet once again 09/24/2025. They are running test and x-rays.

For those who don’t know IVDD is a common disease known in wiener dogs which paralyze their back legs prohibiting them from walking, running, even using the restroom. My fur baby does have the chance to regain mobility or he can be paralyzed forever. The expenses are to much for me to cover and with your help and prayer you can help my little Superman fight and regain his strength . Thank you for taking the time to read, pray, or even donate.
