My name is Leroy, and I’m a chef who has spent my life serving others through food. My dream has always been to operate my own food truck — not just as a business, but as a way to provide for my family, create opportunities, and give back to my community.

In 2024, after my divorce was finalized, the judge awarded me the food truck as part of the settlement. While that was a blessing, the truck has remained parked at its commissary kitchen out of state because I haven’t had the resources to bring it home to Georgia and relaunch my business.

Today, I’m supporting myself and my children on a single income while also managing child support and everyday responsibilities. The cost to transport the truck, secure permits, complete setup, and get operational is more than I can handle alone right now.

This food truck represents more than equipment — it represents a second chance, stability for my children, and the foundation for something bigger I’ve been building for years.

On my 39th birthday, I decided to ask for help.
