Help Lerman get home
Donation protected
I have known Lerman for a little over two years and in that time he has become family to me. He is kind, thoughtful, hard-working, and honest through the most difficult of times. Lerman had been living in a spare room with friends when his space heater malfunctioned and the addition where he was living burned down. After that, Lerman fell victim to a cycle of addiction and homelessness but has taken steps to overcome it.
He has completed a 30-day treatment program and enrolled in another program to support his sobriety goals. He is committed to his recovery and has been lucky enough to qualify for a sober-living home but needs your help to afford his move-in costs and the first month of rent while he seeks for reliable, full-time employment.
Lerman will fight to better himself every day and put in the work to get the life he deserves but without a stable roof over his head, hopes of self-improvement fall to the back burner as he searches for a safe place to sleep at night. My hope is that we can help this man who undeniably deserves it. Help a man who is actually trying, who WANTS to change, and just needs a little help along the way.
