A Fresh Start: A Single Mom's Journey to Health and Peace for Her and Her Daughter

Hello, my name is Leora, and I’m reaching out today with an open heart, hoping for some support in this new chapter of life.

Last year, my world was shaken when my daughter’s father passed away after a brave battle with cancer. His passing left a void that no words can truly capture. As I was navigating the grief, I made the decision to move to North Carolina with my 7-year-old daughter. It’s a fresh start, a chance to rebuild our lives in a place that could offer us peace, a healthier lifestyle, and new opportunities.

Since moving, I have dedicated myself to creating a holistic, healthy environment for my daughter and me. As a martial artist, I’ve always believed in strength, discipline, and the power of the mind and body, but my journey toward wellness has been a lot more challenging than I ever anticipated. I am working hard every day to homeschool my daughter and provide for us, while also prioritizing our health.

We live on a beautiful piece of land where we care for chickens, but unfortunately, the place we’re renting has exposed us to mold. This mold has caused both of us significant health problems, and we’ve been struggling to recover. Despite my best efforts, the exposure to mold continues to compromise our immune systems, making it even more difficult to maintain our health and wellbeing.

I’m reaching out now because I have a dream. I dream of being able to live in a space where my daughter and I can breathe easy, heal, and thrive without worrying about our health being constantly impacted. I am hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a used camper where we can live peacefully. A camper would allow us to have a safe, clean, and private space of our own, giving us a stable foundation to focus on our health, growth, and future.
