They live hours away from the hospital where Leonardo receives treatment and rely on public transportation to get there long, exhausting journeys that take a physical and emotional toll on a child already battling so much. Something as simple as getting to the hospital has become a daily struggle.

They are now selling tacos on the street to pay for the treatments. Their greatest hopes are simple but life-changing: To afford Leonardo’s ongoing cancer treatments To have a reliable car so he can get to the hospital safely and on time. To focus on healing instead of worrying about survival. No family should have to choose between transportation and treatment.
