In April 2025, my husband Leonard was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. It had already spread to his liver.

After a year of chemotherapy cycles, the primary tumor in his colon has shrunk in size, but has been unsuccessful in managing the tumor in his liver. He has had two targeted radiation procedures to attack the tumor in his liver. Despite these procedures, a most recent scan has shown that the tumor in his liver has continued to grow and spread.

Leonard is now on a different, more aggressive chemotherapy drug. He has been feeling extremely ill, and struggles to accomplish day-to-day tasks. He has been unable to work since his diagnosis.

My husband has always been a hard worker. He's the first one to help, when anyone is in need. So, the inability to work has had a tremendous impact on his mental health. This journey has been extremely difficult to navigate, both physically and mentally for my whole family.

We're kindly asking for your help. The costs of treatments, appointments, medications, etc. has become insurmountable. The financial strain is overwhelming. Every donation will go directly to these expenses.
