Hello,

I'm Sarah, wife of Leonard Becton, who is currently having some serious health issues. These health issues, which include prostate cancer, as well as some, undiagnosed issues, have rendered Leonard unable to return to work in the foreseeable future.

Last week, Leonard was experiencing some muscle weakness and started falling. He fell trying to walk upstairs to our bedroom and then fail the very next morning. After the fall, we noticed that he was unable to lift his arms and was unable to walk, so we called the paramedics. At the hospital, after being examined, a huge mass was located on the back of his neck and he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The most pressing issue after the fall was the mass on his neck, as it could have resulted in him being permanently paralyzed from waist down or worse a quadriplegic. So an emergency surgery was performed to remove the mass. With God's grace, the surgery went well and I'm happy to report that he has the use of both arms and both legs...he will need a LOT of physical therapy before he is walking again but we are on the right track.

Once he has recovered a bit more from this surgery, we will start fighting the prostate cancer and all other medical issues, none is which is free or cheap. His insurance only covers so much and these life saving medical treatments are not free.
