Leona came into our lives as a stray, severely underweight and in desperate need of help. She is an Anatolian shepherd who weighed under 50 pounds when we found her, and she was so emaciated that we had to slow-feed her and keep her at the vet for four days just to get her strong enough for surgery. During her stay, she received X-rays that revealed a broken leg, and the veterinary team worked hard to stabilize her so she could have the operation she needs.
Despite everything she’s been through, Leona is a gentle soul. She was shy at first, but now she’s showing her sweet personality and is truly happy to be alive. We named her Leona because she’s a tough girl with a big heart, and all she wants is a chance to live a full, happy life. Our small family couldn’t turn our backs on her, and we are committed to giving her the care she deserves.
We are reaching out for help as we take on this mission to save Leona. Your support will go directly toward her X-rays, surgery, and ongoing care, giving her the best chance at recovery. Thank you for considering a donation to help our family and Leona—every bit of support means the world to us.
