Hello, my name is Ariana Datis! 

My sweet boy Leon is just turning 1 year old and is currently fighting for his life. A few days ago, he stopped eating, stopped using the bathroom, barely moved, and rapidly lost weight. We rushed him to the emergency vet and found out he was extremely blocked and had to have a catheter put in to unblock him. He also has stones in both his kidneys and bladder. The vets told us that if we had waited even a few more days, he likely would not have survivedSince being hospitalized, it has been an emotional rollercoaster. In the beginning, he would make slight progress, then suddenly decline again. But over these last 24 hours, he has made huge progress and is finally stable enough to have his second surgery. He urgently needed surgery to remove the stones and save his life. We spent at least $5,000 for the 2 surgeries alone, plus another estimated $3,000 for the days of hospitalization, close monitoring, and medications. We have already spent close to a total of $10,000 trying to keep him alive, including taking out 3 loans because I could not bear the thought of losing him or having him put down. Even after these surgeries, this will be something he will likely battle for the rest of his life. He needs a special prescription diets, close monitoring, follow-up care, and frequent vet visits to help prevent the stones from returning. He is only a baby and the sweetest, most loving cat. He is so cuddly, affectionate, and full of love, and he deserves the chance to keep living a happy lifeWatching him fight this hard has been heartbreaking. I normally would never come online asking for help like this, but this is truly my last hope to save him.
