My name is Leola aka thelezthetician. I am a black queer esthetician based in Los Angeles, CA. I am taking a big leap and hoping to raise enough funds to kick start my own business, Pansy Esthetics

My dream is to have a space that is safe(r) for queer and trans people and their allies to come and seek inclusive and informed skincare services that fit their needs and desires. Unfortunately many estheticians, medspas, and salons exclude queer people or have harmful retorhic and ideals that leave communities feeling overlooked or unwanted. Let’s put an end to that together.

As I become more involved in the beauty and esthetics industry it becomes increasingly obvious that this can be a grueling and unfair industry for a black woman so I am also hoping to create a path for myself that I can build and thrive in safely and securely.

my goal of 20,000 will cover beginning costs of modalities, room equipment, first months rent, supplies, etc..
