Leo is fighting every single day to take his first independent steps.
Our son Leo is 3 years old, and he was born prematurely at just 30 weeks. Due to complications at birth, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
From the very beginning, Leo has been a fighter.
While other children his age are running and playing freely, Leo is working harder than most adults just to do the simplest things. Every single day, he goes through intensive therapies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. He never gives up.
And neither do we.
Recently, we discovered a treatment called Cytotron, offered in Mexico. This innovative therapy is designed to help with damaged brain cells. We spoke with families who went through this treatment, and we saw real improvements in children like Leo. Reduced muscle stiffness, better control, and in some cases, even independent steps.
For us, this is hope.
But this opportunity comes with a heavy cost.
The treatment itself is expensive, but that’s not all. Because the hospital is located in one of the most expensive areas in Mexico, we are required to stay nearby for about 38 nights. The cost of accommodation alone is extremely high. In addition, we need to cover flights, daily living expenses, and most importantly, an intensive therapy program immediately after the treatment to maximize Leo’s progress.
This critical “boost” period after Cytotron could make all the difference.
Altogether, the total cost is far beyond what we can afford on our own.
Leo is our only child. Our whole world.
We are doing everything in our power to give him the best possible future. But we cannot do this alone.
We are reaching out with hope in our hearts and asking for your help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Leo one step closer to walking independently.
