Leo is our 9-month-old Doberman and the newest addition to our family. He was named after his Grandpa, who passed away a year ago, and he’s quickly become the biggest love bug in our home. Our dogs are truly family to us, and Leo has brought so much joy and comfort, especially during tough times.

Recently, Leo faced a sudden and serious medical emergency. He suffered a blockage in his intestine, which required emergency surgery on Saturday morning. At first, he seemed to be recovering well, but then he suddenly became very ill again. The doctors told us that the only way to give him his best chance was to go back in for a second surgery to repair the affected area. It was a heartbreaking and urgent decision, but we knew we had to do everything we could for Leo.

We work hard and have always done our best to provide for our pets, but like many families right now, we are stretched thin. The costs of two emergency surgeries, along with medications and follow-up care, are overwhelming. Asking for help is not easy—I feel like I’m begging—but I know this is our only option to give Leo the care he needs. Any support you can offer means the world to us.
