Hello!

My name is Leo Gil, and I am currently a member of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. Ever since freshman year, I have dreamed of performing as a musician and traveling to different places. and that is now starting to become a reality. I have attended events such as All State, JanFest, and the USC Honor Band clinic, however this opportunity is like one I’ve never experienced.

This upcoming summer, I will be traveling to Chicago with the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony for an unforgettable performance. While I have graciously been given a scholarship to attend this once in a lifetime event, there are still costs that I must cover. As of right now, my mother works two jobs in order to pay for everything while I work a job to cover costs my mother isn’t able to. By starting this GoFundMe, I hope to lift the financial burden off my mother and me in hopes of being able to experience the joy of playing in Chicago.
