Hi all,

Leo is a quirky kitty with some quirky kitty issues.

Just a few weeks ago, Leo lost enough weight to cause concern, so I took him to the vet. At this visit, I found out Leo is very sick. His kidneys are not functioning properly.

To get him back to good health, we are needing to make frequent vet visits for x-rays, blood tests and, most importantly, give him fluids and antibiotics. He is very young at 4 years old and has many more years of life to give.

This treatment is needed to save his life.

It is hard for me to say this, but I cannot afford his treatments at this time. I need to ask for financial help to save my Leo. Any support will be greatly appreciated.

Leo means so much to me. As a single mom who raised two daughters, my two kitties are now my dear companions. They helped me get through lonely times these past few years, especially when I lost my job and was isolated from family.

Leo was always there for me. Now is my chance to be there for Leo.

A big thank you to the community who have already helped me -- friends who for the first week of Leo's illness, came by the house every day to help give fluids to him.

Leo turns 5 this spring and my family hopes to celebrate with him feeling pawsitively happy and healthy.
