Hello, my name is Leo and I really wish I was not writing this. About two weeks ago on my 26th birthday I woke up to find my dad had died in his sleep sometime the night before. I've lived with him since I graduated from college since I don't make enough money to stay on my own, even though I'm trans and couldn't be out to him (I'm in the Obit as 'daughter Laura').

Since the cause of death is unknown still, I don't even have the death certificates I would need to get the bills officially transferred over to my name, much less get his life insurance and retirement from work. It sucks to be thinking about money at at time like this but I really would like to keep my house, feed my dogs, pay for their vet bills, ect ....

After doing the math my bills come out to about $2,000/mo, not including any surprise vet bills or any of the quarterly bills. That number also doesn't include food for myself and the dogs. I have a job with the government, but even with overtime I make just about exactly $1,000 a paycheck every two weeks. Any amount you could help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
