Hi everyone! My name is Evelyn, and this is my partner Leo. He was diagnosed this summer with a bicuspid aortic valve and had open-heart surgery earlier this month to get a valve replacement. Leo is a truck driver, and while in recovery, he cannot drive, meaning he cannot work. He does not receive benefits from his job; thus, if he does not work, then he does not get paid.

Leo is 42 years old, and anyone who knows him knows he has the biggest heart. He is always thinking of others, and anything he can do to help, he does. He is a humble man who does not normally ask for help but thinks of helping friends in need before himself.

He is funny, charismatic, loving, and dedicated to his family and friends. I am asking for any assistance you can provide to help him in this time of need, to allow him the appropriate amount of time to recover from his surgery without feeling rushed to work to assist with financial burdens over the next few months. Any donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated to go towards household expenses to help him get to a stronger physical state and enjoy this new chance at life.
