Hi im Leo! Im a 26yo disabled artist from Brighton who desperately needs to get outside and live life independently again. Im currently using a manual wheelchair full time and have to push myself to get anywhere. It’s hard work, exhausting and very painful and means I don’t get to go out much at all which then impacts my mental health as I’m usually stuck inside & not able to see anyone. I used to be very active and involved in lots of projects and I am desperate to be able to reclaim this after years now of struggling to get out.

Im currently fund raising for a triride, which is an electronic attachment for my wheelchair which would mean I don’t have to wheel manually & could also access nature again. It would mean getting round with ease and less pain and fatigue and I would actually be able to have my independence. I currently can’t get my own shopping, see friends, or go to events, all of which I will be able to do with a Triride. But more than anything id be so grateful to get out into nature again and go on walks to see the sea as walking was my favourite pass time and I miss it a lot.

I have been privately fundraising through charities & have raised £3600 towards this but I have reached capacity of what I can raise this way & need to secure the rest of the funding before Christmas when the offers expire. I’d appreciate any donations and shares, thank you!
