Leo is our 13-year-old dog, and he truly is like a child to us. He’s the most loving companion, always there to greet us with a wagging tail and endless affection. Recently, we noticed a large bump on his face and took him to the vet, thinking it would be a routine tooth extraction. Unfortunately, things took a much more serious turn. The vet ended up pulling 19 teeth, and during the procedure, they discovered a large mass inside his cheek. While they were able to remove most of it, some of the mass has taken root in his jaw bone. The vet was concerned enough to send a sample for biopsy, as they suspect it could be cancerous.

The bills for his care have already become overwhelming, and I have a feeling we aren’t done yet. I had to take out a line of credit just to cover the costs, but making the payments is a real struggle as we’re already behind and living paycheck to paycheck. Leo means the world to our family, and we want to do everything possible to help him get through this.
