Hi, our names are Seth and Chelsea, and we're reaching out today with a very heavy heart. Our 1-and-a-half year old corgi, Leo, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma, and his fight for survival is just beginning. Leo is more than a pet to my wife and me—he’s our child, our companion, and our emotional support through some tough times. We’ve been dealing with our own struggles with fertility and autoimmune disorders, and Leo has been there to brighten our days and give us strength.
It breaks my heart that our sweet, playful Leo has been blindsided with such a devastating diagnosis at such a young age. We never imagined we would be facing such a heavy medical burden for him, especially given his age. Leo’s condition requires extensive chemotherapy, and the total cost of his treatments alone is over $12,000—without including diagnostics, inpatient care, and other ongoing medications. While we will do anything to give him the best chance at life, the financial strain has left us in a difficult position.
Over the years, we’ve opened our hearts and home to both people and animals in need, and while we've navigated the loss of terminally ill pets in the past, the circumstances with Leo feel overwhelming. But we’re committed to fighting for him as long as there’s hope. Any support—whether through donations or sharing our story—would mean the world to us during this incredibly challenging time.
Leo is more than just a dog. He’s a part of our family, and with your help, we believe we can give him a fighting chance to beat this cancer and continue to be the loving and joyful boy he’s always been.
100% of the funds will be used for chemo treatments. If we're unlucky and he does not respond well then they will be used for hospice and respectful cremation services.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
With love,
Seth, Chelsea, and Leo
