Hello Everyone! My name is Dina and I’m starting this fundraiser for my dear friend that lost all of her belongings today in the fire that accidentally happened in her apartment. Her and her son is in the hospital luckily with minor burns due to this accident but her apartment is gone completely with everything they ever owned. They both have no relatives to go to or anyone that can help, she is a single mom that have been working very hard to keep her situation under control due to various circumstances for last 5 years and just slowly started to finally have steady job so she could provide for her little boy when this tragedy strike and took all she worked for last 5 years away. When I got text from unknown number today saying “we are in the hospital, everything burned to the ground and we are barely naked” at first I couldn’t recognize or think of who it might be, but then I looked at the area code and realized that the only person in California is my friend and her son. If I could tell her whole story here nobody would believe what this woman went trough in the last 5 years and how she never lost her courage to be strong and go on and on like many single moms do, but when I called the number and I heard her voice broken and discouraged I realize that this one is going to be tough to overcome.
