For those unaware, Lenzie has been struggling with an unknown chronic illness for over a year now. Great pain, debilitating fatigue, muscle weakness, joint aches, and anxiety have been constant companions. Her body is “stuck” as one medical professional put it, in fight or flight mode.
Unless you’ve witnessed her pain, heartache & lowest moments first hand, it may be difficult to understand just how agonizing many moments over the past year have been for her. She has only shared briefly with the public, but now Lenzie is sharing it all. She needs us.
From a sister’s perspective - I’ve seen the brightest light slowly dim; silent tears in the corner. My brother, Nathan, has had to carry her more than once to and from different rooms as her body failed her.
If you have known Lenzie - you know how our hearts break for her. Most would never know she is struggling. In fact, her grit and determination make it seem like she’s doing fine, but the reality is that she’s not.
Every specialist, hospital & clinic she has seen has done their best to help her, but the pain persists. Still no answers & constant dead ends. What one doctor called a “last resort” due to the expense is called, The Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, AR. This clinic requires her to relocate for months, & will cost her in the ballpark of $50k.
With Lenzie forced to leave her job, & having 2 small boys at home - a cost like this is unimaginable on Nathan’s single income.
If 50 people gave $1000, 100 gave $500, or 250 gave $200, this goal could be reached. But, any amount, no matter how small, gets them closer to their goal.
Nathan and Lenzie are well aware of what they are asking, but they have chosen to set aside their pride to ask for help. They have prayed and sought the Lord and are very optimistic as they seek to be treated at this world renown clinic.
We are so grateful for everyone who has been so generous throughout this past year & helped make sure that their family has been taken care of - they couldn’t have made it this far without you. Ultimately, we know that we serve a big God whose plans are greater & whose healings are miraculous.
Thank you for supporting our girl!
