Help Lenox feel better! He is currently at the vet hospital for the second time in the last two months.
Lenox began to colic in November and was violently painful. He went to the hospital at 1am during a snowstorm. On the way to the hospital, the truck hit black ice and crashed on the highway. After almost two hours at the crash site, the police were able to shut down the freeway and we moved Lenox from the damaged trailer to a new truck and trailer. He was diagnosed with enteritis and spent the next week at the hospital on fluids and getting his stomach pumped.
He had been recovering well over the last month before he began to show symptoms of colic last night. He was less painful, but for sure colicking. The vet came to look him over and passed a nasogastric tube to pump his stomach. He refluxed 12 liters of fluid out of a stomach that should only hold 10 liters. Referred to the vet hospital with suspect enteritis again.
Please consider donating to Lenox's cause as I spent all of my vet funds the the hospital on his last visit.
Praying for a speedy recovery for him. Thank you everyone!
