The woman rescued from that apartment on Friday, October 31, 2025, is my sister Lenore Richardson. The firefighters that extracted her from the fallen tree and the collapsed ceiling that she was trapped under were amazed she survived. It is a miracle she is alive. All of her possessions are gone; she has nothing now. This is a devastating event. Her biggest sorrow are the mementos of her deceased son in the inaccessible apartment. “She keeps repeating, “Everything is gone, I’m homeless.”
We're asking for help to get her back on her feet. She survived and is a survivor, but needs help to go on living.
A message from her son -
"Help My Mom, Lenore “Lennie” Richardson, Rebuild After a Tragic Accident
Story:
Yesterday, the unimaginable happened to my mother, Lenore “Lennie” Richardson. A massive tree fell onto her home of 20 years, completely destroying it — and trapping her beneath the debris. By nothing short of a miracle, she survived and was rescued from under the tree and rubble.
At 70 years old, my mom now faces the daunting challenge of starting over — physically, emotionally, and financially. While we are beyond grateful that she’s still with us, she has lost nearly everything she’s worked for.
As she begins to heal and rebuild her life, we’re asking for your help. Whether through donations or simply sharing this page, any support means the world to us. We’re so thankful for your kindness, prayers, and love as we help our mama recover and start again."
Kindest Regards,
Lenore's Family
