On March 30, Northern Michigan was hit with an unprecedented ice storm, leaving thousands of residents and businesses without power, including my brother Leonard Giannosa (Lenny) who lives in Gaylord with his 3 teenage sons. The entire city of Gaylord is closed down. All the businesses are closed, so no one is able to go to work. We got him set up with a generator that is able to run their fridge, a small space heater, and his CPAP. But, he literally used his last few dollars for gas to fill it this morning. And if the storm over the weekend wasn't bad enough, we have another storm hitting us today. Gaylord is north of the 45th parallel, and they always get hit worse than anyone else.
Unfortunately, he didn't go into this situation prepared with emergency reserves. He had been out of work for a while after being sick earlier this year and had fallen behind on his bills. He had just started a new job and was looking forward to finally being able to catch up... and then the storm hit. He feels defeated, like life is kicking him while he's already down. We all need a hand up once in a while.
If you know Lenny, he has the biggest heart of anyone that I know. If you can help his family through this rough time, I know that he would be incredibly grateful. If you would prefer to donate via PayPal or Venmo, that would be awesome!
(PayPal is preferred; he has a PayPal debit card and will receive the money right away.)

If you are unable to donate anything at this time, would you please keep Lenny and his boys in your prayers and please share. Thank you so much and God bless.
